The h.wood Group & Interscope Records partner to create a new live music concept in West Hollywood with big music and soft lighting, The Peppermint Club; part bar, part music venue.

What happens when a major record label and one of the top nightlife lifestyle companies in Los Angeles come together? One of the freshest new music venues in Tinseltown that’s guest-list only. Interscope Geffen A&M and The h.wood Group have co-created The Peppermint Club; a premiere lounge where guests can enjoy live music in a truly intimate, V.I.P. setting.
When it comes to the cocktails, expect a high-end libations list with names that pay homage to legendary music industry venues—such as The Billboard, made with Virginia Black whiskey, muddled strawberry, honey, lemon juice and soda, as well as The Fillmore, made with Avión silver, Aperol, jalapeño, lime juice and lemon verbena.
Guests can enjoy lounge-style bottle service in clever seating arrangements, while being entertained by live resident artists and special guest performances. In the end, the area where every Peppermint Patty wants to be is the Virginia Black Green Room (a.k.a. the V.I.P. room), available for artists and special guests only.
Which is the best table at Peppermint Club?
Peppermint is a very small, intimate venue. All tables have good access to the action and great views of the performers.
If you loved La La Land, you’ll adore The Peppermint Club; a romantic, retro 60s-inspired L.A. music lounge that could have tumbled straight off the screen of the nostalgic hit film.
The cozy 2,000 square foot space is layered with forms and shapes that fill the room and exude an air of exclusivity, thanks to lush materials, luxury furniture and high-end finishes. Burgundy, plum, sky and blueberry colors give the space rich pops of color, which harmoniously juxtapose with the dark, elegant shades.
Additional custom details like the vertically-layered dug-fir finishes—harvested from a 1956 building on the Sunset Strip—are reminiscent of a classic sound studio and serve to complement the acoustic superiority of the space.
The stage, with its Regency-style design, adds to the intimate vibe, as do warm, wood sculptures and sharp, polished brass artworks that mimic the high-end pop art that’s typical of the Woodstock generation.
It may not be Seb’s jazz bar from La La Land, but who knows, you might even meet your very own Ryan Gosling…
The Peppermint Club is a return to an era when people knew how to party in style. The biggest names in music and nightlife fun will send you back to a time when mod skirts and free love ruled the day.

Most all Los Angeles Nightclubs will enforce a strict dress code whether you have a bottle service reservation or if you are on the guest list. The good news? Most of them are exactly the same.
Girls can usually get away with anything that at least looks like they tried. Guys must adhere to more of a patchwork of exceptions that depend on the event and the person. Avoid anything that can be considered sportswear (shorts, jerseys, gym shoes). If you want to ensure a simple evening, play it safe and don’t risk it with any of the above.
