Straight from the streets of Los Angeles, Eric D-Lux has been making a huge noise on both the radio airwaves and DJ circuit since joining the Power 106 family just a few short years ago. With his raw, up-beat, and straight from the streets personality, he’s quickly become a fan favorite. Coming from humble beginnings, he began his love of music at a very young age. Influenced by older cousins and friends, he was already fully engulfed in the DJ community by his early teens. Saving up any money he could, he managed to buy records, mixers, turntables, needles, and everything else needed to start their journey. Teaching himself by watching and listening, he picked up the art very quickly. By high school, D-Lux was fully entwined in the party scene, mixing at local house parties and clubs. In 2002 D-Lux got hired on the Power 106 street team. While working on the street team, he continued to stay on the mix-tape and party break grind. After 3 months of doing weekend jump-off mixes, D-Lux was asked to start mixing live on-air. You can now hear him on the Saturday Night Street Party weekly (Saturdays 7 p.m.-12 a.m.), and daily (Monday-Friday 3 p.m.- 7 p.m.). You can also hear him mixing live on the Cali Caliente Power Mix Weekends as well as throughout the week on the New at Two Mix.
