From 1OAK in New York City to H.Wood in Hollywood, DJ Benjamin Walker’s bumping bass keeps cocktail-fueled party-goers going all night. Surrounded by music his entire life, Sacramento-born Walker, 26, started out in the music business at the age of 19 and had his own late-night music show on Los Angeles based radio station The Beat by the time he was 21. That gig helped him quickly land more clients, such as the LA Clippers, clothing store Metropark and hip-hop duo Clipse, who all hired him to deejay high-profile events. Now, five years later, Walker is traveling the world to work for such music industry icons as Kanye West, Tyrese and Pharrell and aspires to start his own DJ-management company.
