LURE exudes that classic Vegas-party life vibe with a splash of the epic L.A. nightlife thrown in. Not just a nightclub, this venue also acts as an intimate concert venue, but more often than not, the entertainment consists of BIG NAME entertainment artists like Migos, Trey Songz, Travis Scott, Wiz Khalifa and more. The décor is consistently modern and contemporary, but magical to boot. Located in the heart of Hollywood, LURE is legendary in the parties that it hosts. If you’re in need of a little privacy, make sure you search for The Patio, which is a secret garden designed with awe-inspiring décor; you’ll just have to see it to believe it.

Entering LURE is like entering into the game of Candy Land, but for adults. With dancers on stages and in plastic half circles hanging from the ceiling alongside the globe-like beaming lights, this place gets crazy. The crowd really gets into the music and who wouldn’t as LED walls and laser lights hit the mark with each beat while fog machines shoot from the ceiling. You will feel the up-tempo energy of this place and the crowd from every angle. It’s vibrant, colorful and absolutely off-the-hook. Not the ‘sip and people watch party,’ but rather it exudes the ‘guzzle your glass and get on the dance floor’ vibe.

  • First off, What’s not allowed? As you now know, just because it is against the formal dress code doesn’t necessarily mean it won’t occasionally get through the door. Furthermore, dress codes are often overlooked if you show up with a very stylish look. Still, be mindful that these are things that are universally “not allowed” per official dress codes: baggy jeans, sports hats, tennis shoes, shoes that are considered too “sports like,” shorts, cut-offs, jerseys, and beanies.
  • What about denims or jeans? Jeans are completely acceptable at every club in LA. You just want to make sure that your jeans look good, as most L.A. top clubs frown upon torn, rugged jeans. Also, you shouldn’t try to walk in wearing really baggy jeans. You will get rejected. Probably even laughed at. Bad idea.
  • What about my shoes? You are always safe with leather and dress shoes. You can even occasionally get away with low profile “tennis shoes” as long as they are solid black, if they look dressy enough and don’t have any huge logos on them. Have some trendy kicks that you want to wear out? Officially, they aren’t allowed, but most L.A. top clubs are relaxing the rules on shoes if you compensate elsewhere in your outfit. Have on a STYLISH collared shirt, tie, jacket, nice pants with your fashionable sports shoes? Technically speaking it’s against the “rules,” but you might be just fine.
